We Made It!

It's the end of an exciting, exhausting and exhilirating day in Dublin! Our flight left Philadelphia about a half hour late and with a longer flight path due to the Iceland volcano we arrived about an hour late. But, all 25 of us made it as did our luggage!

We went first to Grafton Street to stretch and have lunch. Beautiful day. Book of Kells was amazing. Beautiful detail. The Long Hall on the 2nd floor was astounding. Centuries old volumes. Dramatic architecture. Then to Dublin Castle. Wonderful guide. Gorgeous rooms. Ancient ruins below.

Dinner at Dublin's oldest pub - Brazen Head Pub. Excellent food. Celebrated David Kelly's 24th b'day! One he'll never forget!

Tomorrow we start delving into the Irish Media!
